Genae Young is the owner of 1 Extraordinary Life, LLC based in New Jersey, USA.  For nearly twenty years, she has devoted her career to the field of Human Resources.  She's been responsible for all HR generalist responsibilities from conducting new hire orientation to developing top talent professionals .  Her work includes improving department and or organizational culture to drive positive performance outcomes for companies and specializes in organizational development, talent development and change management. 

She facilitates team dynamics training and OD interventions to help improve or strengthen relationships and team effectiveness ultimately helping organizations achieve goals and create improved customer experiences.  

 1 Extraordinary Life began with a couple of Appreciative Inquiry questions while expecting her first child in 2007. The questions were "what could I do to contribute to better outcomes in the world and what actions could I take to add value to society?" The answer was to do work that esteems, empowers, and encourages us all to do our best for both individuals and companies. She structured the vision into an organization in 2012 with a modest start into the small business space. For years, she's done work to help with career advice and services as ancillary to full time corporate employment and motherhood. In 2020 she's expanded to a formal online platform and presence with the company.
